Shaman Training (for women and non-binary folks)
Elizabeth practices a form of shamanism called the Northern Way, which is based on her own ancestral lineage. This form of shamanism comes from the region now known as Scandinavia but the practice began thousands of years ago, before Christianity reached the region until it’s near extinction at the end of the Viking Age.
In modern times, there has been a revival of both shaman practice and the Northern Way. Elizabeth has been taught by many shaman from multiple cultural backgrounds including Quechuan, Mayan, Cuban, Native American, Shipibo, Hmong, South Asian, and African. As is true for all shaman, Elizabeth has developed over the last decade her own medicine.
About this Shaman Training
Shamanic practice is personal and individual. Elizabeth will offer this training for the first time to women, those who identify as women, and non-binary folks. This training will be in person, in Elizabeth’s home in Brooklyn, meeting one weekend a month on Friday night and Saturdays. This training will be limited to ten people.
During these eight months, we will focus on our own personal healing, tap into the teachings of our own ancestral lineage, and each develop our own medicine. The training will work to further develop each person’s natural ability to perceive information energetically, and how to work to remove shadow pieces in the healing of others.
We will work in circle as a community supporting each other’s growth. We will participate in ritual both together and alone. This training will ask for each participant to take a deep dive internally in order to develop our abilities externally.
*Reserve a spot in this training if you are interested. I will confirm in August if we have enough participants to go forward.
